Over the last year or so I have felt really convicted in the area of providing meals for my family on a regular basis. I wasn't used to cooking, didn't really enjoy it, and didn't ever prioritize it. I didn't have a collection of recipes and could never figure out what to make. We mostly ate take-out or pre-made meals that required little actual preparation.
God has really been changing my heart in this area to where I find that I now often want to cook dinner for my family. I want to plan our meals for the week and make sure we have all of the ingredients on hand. I am finding that eating dinner together regularly as a family is having an enormously positive impact on our family.
Trust me when I say this is an area that requires major work on my part... I am not a master chef and I do not have much cooking experience... so if I can do it, you can! I'm always looking for new kid-friendly and fairly simple recipes so please share if you have any great ones!
